1.      WEDDING

1.0  Any member of the fellowship who has done the Life In The Spirit Seminar with us or elsewhere, and is wedding, the fellowship shall send at least two representatives with a gift item worth N 1000. 00.

 

1.1  If the member has not done Life In The Spirit Seminar, attendance is not mandatory and such a person will be welcomed back with a gift worth not more than N500.00.

 

1.2  If two of our members are the couple, what is due to each would be given.

 

1.3  If a member is wedding in any other place other than Nigeria, attendance is not mandatory. What is due shall be given at a local reception in the fellowship, as shall be directed by the exco. But where a member volunteers to go for such a wedding on his own accord, the fellowship shall deliver what is due through such a person. The fellowship will not bear the transportation cost.

 

1.4  Any wedded member shall be welcomed officially in the fellowship as shall be directed by the exco.

 

1.5  There shall be a marriage committee for the fellowship which shall take up the responsibility of investigating important matters of spirituality according to charismatic rules and regulations.

 

1.6  The fellowship shall play a very big role both in the organisation and coverage of both the testimony night and the reception proper by the fellowship band. This applies only where the said wedding takes place in the parish.

 

2.      BEREAVEMENT OF PARENT(S)/WIFE/HUSBAND

2.0  A condolence visit will be paid by at least two representatives of the fellowship on the burial day with a condolence letter from the exco. A condolence purse would be given to such a person.

 

2.1  Where the deceased is relative of a member and the matter is officially reported to the fellowship, a condolence visit will be paid to such a member on his/her rteturn.

 

2.2  In the case of 2.0 above, it is subject to the member having undergone Life In The Spirit Seminar.

 

2.3  A nine day novena mass will be booked for the category of cases in 2.0.

 

3.      DEATH OF A MEMBER

3.0  A condolence visit by at least 10 members of the fellowship with cash of N2000.00.

 

3.1  If the member is not a Nigerian, a volunteer may be handed over the money at his own expense.

 

3.2  A nine day novena mass will be booked for such a deceased member.

 

4.      BORROWING OF MONEY

4.0  The fellowship must not give out more than N2500.00 at a particular occasion.

 

4.1  Where a loan is given, the borrower must be sureteed by the leader of the ministry where he belongs.

 

4.2  If such a member is in new ministry, any member who has done Life In The Spirit Seminar can suretee him/her through his/her ministry leader.

 

4.3  In situations of charitable gifts, it can not be more than N500.00.

 

4.4  Failure to pay back at the stipulated time of 3 months, decisions will be reached by the exco on the next step to take.

 

5.      VICTIM(S) OF RAPE/ACCIDENT

5.0  The fellowship will take care of 60% of the bill in case of rape, where the person involved was either coming or going home after fellowship.

 

5.1  In the case of accident with a reasonable degree of severity, the fellowhip will give a sum of N1000,00.

 

5.2  Where such a victim has not done Life In The Spirit Seminar, 5.0 would apply but not 5.1 above.

 

6.      ILL HEALTH

6.0  Any sick person must send a written letter to the exco for visit and prayers which shall be handed over to the intercessory ministry.

 

7        ORIENTATTION/SENDFORTH

7.0  There shall be orientation/sendforth party for both diploma/degree/ masters/Ph.D students, and the nature of the gifts to be given shall be determined by a committee set up by the exco.

 

7.1  Such a sendforth shall be for members who would be leaving the fellowship entirely.
